Introduction: Operating room students in the clinical environment have high stress that affects their learning. Peer mentoring program is one of the effective strategies to reduce studentschr(chr(chr(chr('39')39chr('39'))39chr(chr('39')39chr('39')))39chr(chr(chr('39')39chr('39'))39chr(chr('39')39chr('39')))) clinical stress. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of clinical team teaching (Peer menoring) on the clinical stress of operating room students. Methods: In this quasi-experimental study, was studied the effect of the implementation of the Peer menoring Plan on the clinical stress with operating room technology, Operating room students at eight semester to up were selected as an educational assistant for co-operation in the training program to the fourth semester students in the presence of their instructor. In the experimental group, there was a student of the eight semester as the mentor for each junior students, and in the other group, there was only an instructor available without any mentor. The data gathering tool was a questionnaire of clinical stress (29 items), whose the content validity of the questionnaire has been confirmed by experts and its reliability (r = 0/86) was reported. Both groups completed the questionnaire after the training. Data analysis was done using SPSS software. Results: The mean score of total clinical stressors in the control group before and after the intervention was not much significant. But the mean total score of clinical stressors in the intervention group before internship was 66.10 ± 14.80 which decreased to 59.00 ± 13.51 after the intervention and paired t-test showed a significant difference (0.035). Conclusion: Peer mentoring approach is effective on Reducing clinical stress levels of operating room students. It is recommended that this method be used in the clinical education of paramedical students
